Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Production Manager to join our Tool & Die production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting production planning, managing production workflows, and ensuring quality and efficiency in the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning: Assist with production planning, including scheduling, material planning, and resource allocation.

2. Production Workflow Management: Manage production workflows, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion.

3. Quality Control: Ensure quality control measures are in place, including inspecting products and implementing quality improvement initiatives.

4. Efficiency Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.

5. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production staff, quality control, and maintenance.

Requirements:

1. Diploma or degree: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

2. No experience required: No prior experience required, but recent graduates or those with some production experience are welcome to apply.

3. Basic knowledge of production principles: Basic knowledge of production principles and practices.

4. Strong analytical skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze production data and identify areas for improvement.

5. Excellent communication skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with production staff and management.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with production management software: Experience with production management software, such as ERP or MES systems.

2. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles: Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.

3. Certification in quality management: Certification in quality management, such as Six Sigma or ISO 9001.
