In this role, you will be crucial in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the company. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from any location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Bookkeeping: Maintain and oversee day-to-day accounting transactions, including managing accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and reconciliations.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations (with support of external accountant), including VAT and corporate tax filings, and liaise with tax authorities as needed.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Audit Support: Coordinate and assist in internal and external audits, ensuring that all financial documentation is accurate and available.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all financial activities comply with applicable financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to meet the company’s financial commitments.
• Financial Analysis: Provide insights and analysis on financial performance to assist management in decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in accounting, ideally within financial services or a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software 
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting deadlines.
