| Job Description: |
- Develop and execute innovative design concepts for seasonal collections and core daily wear pieces.
- Lead the design team in brainstorming, sketching, and fabric selection processes.
- Oversee the creation of detailed technical specifications and design boards.
- Conduct market research and analyze fashion trends to ensure collections are both relevant and unique.
- Maintain an awareness of competitor offerings and industry developments.
- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure designs are translated effectively from concept to finish products.
- Review and refine prototypes, working closely with pattern makers and sample sewers.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering professional growth.
- Coordinate with design assistants and other team members to streamline the design process.
- Ensure that all design align with the brand’s aesthetic and core values.
- Maintain consistency in design language across collections.
- Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to understand customer needs and market demands.
- Participate in key meetings and presentations to communicate design ideas and concepts.
