| Job Description: |
- Assist Head of Operational Risk Review in providing audit opinions on adequacy and effectiveness of the risk management process and system on internal controls.
- Conduct risk based audit of the branch distribution or group functions through appropriate planning, resource and time management.
- Hold preliminary meeting with the auditee to understand the current year operations and any major changes, if any, occurred during the period under review.
- Prepare risk assessment of audit universe within given time.
- Collect necessary data and details from branches/departments required for preparing the preliminary audit planning document.
- Visit branches/HO units with the team to perform audits as per audit programs.
- Identify risk while analyzing the information for communicating to auditee the nature of risk associated with the transactions.
- Complete audit assignments in allocated time.
- Check factual accuracy of draft findings of the team and identify risk and assign risk ratings.
- Discuss audit findings with the auditee, resolve issues (if any) in exit meetings and finalize draft report.
- Analyze information gathered to identify reportable conditions and reach conclusion.
- Timely escalate audit issues to line manager for onwards escalation at appropriate level.
