Job Description:
  • Responsible for functioning of branch in all respect i.e. operation, administration, marketing, training, lending and security of the branch.
  • Create environment and the team spirit for accomplishment of financial and service objectives.
  • Planning the branch functions with focus on acquisition of loans and deposits and operate within the assigned budget.
  • Arranging approvals of loans. Hence driving the branch portfolio towards ENR Growth.
  • Ensure safety and security of location, cash, collateral and other critical branch records within the location.
  • Ensure functionality of CCTV camera at all times and follow SOP in this regards
  • Responsible for safe and secure custody of cash. The cash kept on counter and reserved in safe must be within specified insurance limit.
  • Responsible for vault and branch keys at all times. Proper handling/taking over must to be maintained in key register in the case of absence.   
  • Build a balance between the loans and deposits so as to achieve the self-funding status of the branch and take full responsibility of branch as revenue centre.
  • Organize the recovery and collection process to maintain the delinquencies and losses within the specified limits of the assigned goals. 
  • Plan and execution of cash so as to ensure optimum availability to meet the day’s requirement therefore avoiding inactive / non-productive cash holding.
  • Ensure execution of financial/functional transactions with utmost efficiency and retaining the integrity of the process.  Maintaining / checking / signing off MIS to monitor daily deposit / withdrawal, no. of transaction and record the error rate. Also day to day reporting to upwards and to other related executives.
  • Take firm decisions with respect to the portfolio rationalization and overall management when and where required. 
  • Ensure closure of branch books fully reconciled at the end of the day. 
  • Carrying out regular capacity planning to identify the resource requirement and request for the requirement in all functional areas.
  •  Arrange for the training of branch staff and build their professional and leadership potential in coordination with the staff’s immediate supervisor and train them for being capable of delivering the assigned goals.
  • Undertake self-assessment on regular basis and prepare the branch for audit and handle internal/ external / SBP audits.
  • Maintain liaison with the community and build brand image of Telenor as a world class Micro Finance bank.
  • Keeps the branch staff updated with regards to the changes in policies, processes and procedure from time to time.
  • Eliminating security hazards and maintaining cleanliness of branch at all times commensurate with the image of Tameer.
  • Strict monitoring of staff against any corruption and mal practices and report any such incidents to supervisor’s office (Head Office/ Regional Office) without fear.
