| Job Description: |
Job Summary
- Ensure compliance of specifications including Microbiological standards for products and materials, by doing precise and accurate analysis
- Maintain Microbiology testing facility to ensure timely and accurate testing and results.
- Carry out testings as per the quality plan for oils and fats analysis with required accuracy
- Report writing
- Based on the system development, establish a QA system that delivers goods of expected quality with required confidence level.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Accurate and precise testing of given samples, standardization of solutions
- Ensure compliance to QC plan for microbiological activities including product, packaging, and personal hygiene etc related evaluations
- Employ statistical tools in doing evaluations.
- Prepare and follow sampling and inspection plans for various evaluations
- Carry out technical audits
- Prepare technical report writing, including complaints response, NCRs etc.
- Sophisticated instrument operations (GC, AAS, Spectrophotometers etc)
- Maintain process knowledge about edible oil and specialized fats.
- When needed carry out stores stock inventory management
- When needed able to conduct risk assessment & make/review HACCP plans
- Carry out assigned SAP tasks
- Ensure expenses of QA remain within the budgetary limits
- Participate in training activities and when needed impart training to other
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Accurate & timely chemical & microbiological testings and results interpretation.
- Cost Saving / Lab cost
- Maintenance of Microbiological labs and instrument.
- Participate in the system certification activities for QMS, FSMS, EMP, Occupational Safety etc
Work Experience
- Preferably work experience in edible oil industry or food industry where QA and QC systems are managed
- Experience of working on SAP systems
- Experience of working in QMS/ISO systems or worked as Management Representative
- Able to work in shifts
