We are looking for an experienced accountant that can perform the following duties:

• Handling the accounts receivable process in the form of invoice preparation, invoice bookkeeping, collections recording, monitoring of outstanding invoices, etc.
• Following up on unpaid invoices and preparing merchants’ statements of account periodically or as needed
• Working closely with the Tech team in streamlining data workflows and processes related to invoicing and collections
• Assisting annual financial and due-diligence audits in providing backup documentation and system review with the auditors
• Communicating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to solve challenges and blockers
• Identifying ways to improve efficiency of existing processes
• Assisting in other accounting and reporting requirements
• Collections reporting to management and relevant stakeholders
• Performing other duties as required

Requirements:

• Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite
• Experience working with softwares such as Xero
• Proficient in English
• 4 years experience as an accountant
• Have a bachelors degree in accountancy
• Candidate must have their own computer with good internet connectivity
