| Job Description: |
Responsibilities:
- Database development and support in MS SQL server environments
- Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL
- Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
- Develop procedures and scripts for data migration
- Hands on experience of Transact SQL utilizing SQL Server 2016 and above or Azure SQL
- Hands on experience in SQL - writing hands on experience in complex stored procedure, function, triggers
- Sound knowledge of SQL Server Reporting & Integration Services(SSRS & SSIS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
- Develop procedures and scripts for data migration
- Power BI knowledge is a plus
- Azure Analysis Services knowledge is a plus
Required Qualification:
- Bachelors (16-Years Education) or Master in Computer Science or related field from HEC recognized university.
Essential Skill Set:
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience of database development
- Advance proficiency in SQL development methodologies and its variation among popular databases
- Experienced in Design, create and manage data modelling and database schema in accordance with business requirements
- Expert level skills with Relational Databases (SQL in particular) and knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases
- Experience in methodologies and processes for managing large scale databases
- Skilled at optimizing large, complicated SQL statements
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Ability to plan resource requirements from high level specifications
- Capable of troubleshooting common database issues
- Capable of configuring popular database engines and orchestrating clusters as necessary
- Familiar with tools that can aid with profiling server resource usage and optimizing it
- Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
