| Job Description: |
- Develop and implement new software programs.
- Maintain and improve the performance of existing software.
- Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues.
- Design and update software database.
- Test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
- Recommend improvements to existing software programs as necessary.
- Successful track record of developing quality software products and shipping production ready software.
- Understand emerging web and mobile development models.
- Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
- Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
- Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
- Presenting ideas for system improvements.
- Working closely with analysts, designers and staff.
- Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live.
- Maintaining the systems once they are up and running.
